Location

Dublin is a vibrant city, enjoying all the amenities of a large cosmopolitan city and the atmosphere of a small town. With a young dynamic and well educated population, of which 40% are below 25 years of age, it is the English Language destination of choice. Coupled with the fact that Ireland is regarded as the friendliest country in a worldwide poll conducted by Lonely Planet travel publishers in 2007 (www.lonelyplanet.com ), it is not surprising that it attracts young people from all over the world to sample the social, cultural and educational experiences that are available. It is a city of culture steeped in literary and musical greatness, with luminaries such as Joyce, Beckett and Wilde and groups such as U2, the Chieftains and Van Morrison promoting the unique Irish heritage.

Situated between the Dublin Mountains and the Irish Sea, Dublin is known as one of Europe's most beautiful cities. In a 2003 European-wide survey conducted by the BBC, Dublin was voted the city most people would like to live in. Leisure and entertainment is never far with many restaurants, theatres, music venues, art galleries, pubs and much more. Every part of Ireland is easily accessible from Dublin. The temperate climate is ideal for pursuing outdoor leisure and sporting activities.
