Our Academic Standards

Excellence, innovation and a continued desire to improve standards have helped Dorset College build its reputation for quality educational standards. Our academic department is managed by our Director of Studies, Ms Eleanor O'Carroll who continually liaises with ACELS the Department of Education body for the teaching of English as a foreign language to ensure our standards are amongst the highest in the industry.

We are committed to improving our buildings and our resources to ensure you the student has the best facilities in which to learn. Our new study room is open from 12pm every day for students who wish to have access to resources for continued study. We have built in WIFI in our canteens and study room to allow student access to the internet. We also have computer facilities available for students which are of the highest standards.

The progress of each student is frequently monitored so that they are always academically challenged throughout their stay. Personal attention and attention to each individual student's progress are hallmarks of the work of the Academic Department in Dorset College.
